Massage therapy works by bringing blood flow to the tissue, moving the cells in the fascia (connective tissue) and stimulating or calming the nervous system. Your RMT will help to release restrictions, adhesions and other ‘ stuck’ elements to encourage muscle and nervous system relaxation to maximize healing.
During your first visit your RMT will assess you and customize a treatment approach that suits your specific needs. They take care to listen to your story ahead of time and encourage communication during the visit if you have any changes.

covered by massage therapy insurance plans.
Indian Head Massage (RMT)

Indian Head Massage utilizes classic Swedish massage techniques for the specific treatment of the scalp, face, neck, shoulders and upper arms.
This modality is extremely effective for reducing physical stress in these areas and for quieting the mind.
Warm coconut oil is used during this therapy for the added benefits of nourishing the skin and hair.
